Janet Erickson is a foodservice supply chain consultant with a successful track record in procurement, distribution management, and quality assurance in a career spanning nearly four decades.
Before she left the corporate world, Janet was the Senior Director of Supply Chain Operations for Brinker International, parent company of Chili’s Grill & Bar and Maggiano’s Little Italy, from early 2013 until October of 2017. In this role, she led the teams responsible for non-food procurement, supply chain support for the Chili’s restaurants outside the U.S., and Brinker’s supply chain technology and reporting.
Prior to joining Brinker, Janet was the Executive Vice President of Supply Chain for Del Taco LLC. In that role, she was responsible for all aspects of Del Taco’s procurement, food safety, quality assurance and distribution. Before joining Del Taco in 1990, she held purchasing management positions with Carl Karcher Enterprises and Denny’s Inc. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in food and nutrition from Cal State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California.
Janet has been a member of the board of the National Restaurant Association’s Supply Chain Management Executive Study Group since its inception in 2011 and was the founding Vice Chairman. She served on the Board of Directors for the Produce Marketing Association (PMA) from 2000 to 2007 and was Chairman of the Board in 2006, the first woman to serve in that role. She also served on the Board of Directors for the organization’s Foundation for Industry Talent from 2006 to 2008.
